About Evans Canada
December 2021, Meridian Adhesives Group acquired the adhesives division of Tri-Tex Co Inc. (Tri-Tex), a Canadian-based leader in the global chemical industry. The Tri-Tex adhesives business joined Meridian’s Industrial Packaging Division as Evans Canada and broadens Meridian’s global footprint and enhances the company’s ability to serve its Canadian customers.
Evans Canada supplies the multiple end markets, including packaging, paper converting, wood working, millwork, and foam bonding, and supports the division’s adhesive technology platform through the manufacturing of hot melt, water-based, construction polymers, epoxy, pressure sensitive and general-purpose adhesives.
Located in Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Evans Canada serves as a link between Evans Adhesive Corporation’s U.S.-based manufacturing plants and the division’s Canadian customers.
